ইস্রায়েলীয় কিছু ব্যক্তি সে সময়ে একটি শবদেহ সমাধিস্থ করতে যাচ্ছিল| তারা মোয়াবীয় সেনাদের দেখে ঐ শবদেহটি ইলীশায়ের কবরে ছুঁড়ে ফেলে পালিয়ে গেল| কিন্তু য়েই মূহুর্তে এই মৃতদেহটি ইলীশায়ের অস্থি স্পর্শ করল, সেই মূহুর্তে সেই লোকটি বেঁচে উঠে দাঁড়াল|

And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band [of men;] and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
